7 Main Points of What MVF Church Believes
There is but One living and true God, the Creator of all good things. We believe in the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. We believe these three are one in eternity, deity and purpose; everlasting, of infinite power, and wisdom and goodness.
The Bible is God’s written Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible has authority over all human life. It teaches the truth about God, His creation, His people, His Son Jesus Christ and the destiny of humankind. The Bible teaches us that all are accountable to God for our personal actions, and we have the need for forgiveness of our sins, but there is hope for eternal life through faith in Jesus. "This is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" (Bible NKJV: I John 5:11-12)
God created mankind in His own image, innocent, morally free and responsible to choose between good and evil, right and wrong. God provides all the resources of His Holy Trinity to make it possible for humans to respond to His grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
Jesus Christ offered once and for all the one perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. "If you confess with your mouth, '"Jesus Christ"' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you beieve and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Bible: Romans 10:9-10)
The Church Is Created By God. It is the people of God. Christ Jesus is Lord and head of the church. The Holy Spirit is the life and power. The Church is both divine and human, heavenly and earthly, ideal and imperfect. The Church exists to fulfill the purposes of God in Christ.
God desires a friendship with you, He is a caring and loving God and He wants a relationship with you (2Corinthian 11:2). We don’t have to go through life alone. Jesus is here to help and encourage you (Isaiah 41:8).s 11:2), he is constantly seeking you out. (Revelation 3:20).
Eternal Life Or Death Is Determined By God’s Grace and Our Response. For those who trust Him and obediently follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, there is a heaven of eternal glory and blessedness in Christ’s presence. But for the un-repentant there is a hell of eternal suffering and a separation from God. )Romans 14:10; 2 Cor. 5:10; Heb. 9:27 - 28; Rev. 20:11 - 15)
